KMO would not exist today if not for the efforts of founder Brad Williams and his desire to spread the name of Jesus across the world. As KMO began working with local communities, the local leaders had either never heard of Jesus or were young in their walk with Christ. Throughout the years, the level of knowledge and education regarding the Bible has increased dramatically so that large percentages of each community now worship in one of several churches. The relationships KMO has established have grown deeper because of God ability to touch individuals at the heart level. Today, KMO offers communities the opportunity to experience God as a new Christian all the way to discipling pastors and leaders of the church community.

The Jesus Film Project was created in 1979. The film has been translated into over 1,000 languages. As a result of the film, more than 225 million people around the world have come to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. KMO has shown the film every year reaching over 10,000 people. Teams have shown the film to as few as 50 and to as many as 1,000. The film has been shown outdoors while raining yet the people continue to stay and watch. The Jesus Film has enabled KMO team's to reach out and share who Jesus is.

Tembea Na Yesu means Walk with Christ. The Tembea Na Yesu weekend is for pastors and leaders in the church community. The purpose of this spiritual event is to bring leaders together into fellowship and allow them to understand what Christ accomplished when he died on the cross. Grace, salvation, healing, and love are all topics that are discussed amongst the group. The weekend ends with pastors and leaders leaving with a renewed sense of who God is and a deeper, more personal relationship with Christ. Each year 50 to 60 leaders have united for this weekend and continue to work together long after the weekend is over to transform lives in their villages and communities.

KMO does not operate an orphanage. We work with individual communities to ensure that those children who have been abandoned, whether by choice or by family members dying, have their basic needs met. HIV/AIDs alone have left Kenya with an estimated 1.7 million orphans. KMO provides limited funds to provide food, clothing, shelter, and in many cases education assistance to children in need. By providing children with basic items needed for survival, KMO is enabling these children to have hope. With that hope the next generation will be able to rise up and lead the future.
