| We always land in Nairobi then we are off through Narok and to one of the three locations: Olmekenyu, Sotik or Morijo.
Though it looks close, our first year (1999) due to the incredibly poor road conditions it took us over eight hours to get from Sotik to
Olmekenyu. |

| Today travel time between most of these places from three to six hours. When it rains you can double that estimate if
you make it through the mud at all. |

Sometimes we are coming this way |
| Sometimes we are going that way |

Some time we just stop cause we don't know which way to go...
(actually we are just waiting for Richard to fix his flat tire a little
ways down the mountain. We can see him stopped on the side of the
road across a small ravine. The good news is he did make it with
just one spare tire.) By the way don't laugh at our bedding on the
vehicle, we look funny traveling but we sleep very nicely. |
